Dear Member,
Just a wee reminder that our next meeting is on Tuesday 13th October at 7.30 pm in Largs Museum. Alan Sorensen is coming along to share with his 'Addiction to Ancestors'. I have a similar addiction- so it will be interesting to see if Alan has found a cure!
Please can you start to have a look for items for our Coffee Morning which takes place on Saturday 7th November 10-12 in The Dunn Memorial Hall Largs.
We are collecting bottles ( including washing up liquid, tomato sauce, wine etc etc!!), books, nearly new/ gifts, and items for the Raffle. If you need anything to be collected please let me know and I will send Richard round to collect it!!
We will be asking for baking nearer the time. Also if you would like to help at The Coffee Morning we would be glad of your support.
Thanks to those of you who have already sold your Coffee Morning tickets and given the money to Anne Cowgill.

This is just a wee reminder that our first workshop of the new session takes place on Friday 25th September 2026 at 2.00pm in the Largs Museum.
Please bring along any research, or just pop in for a cup of tea/coffee for a blether. It will be lovely to see you.

Dear Member,
I am looking forward to seeing you at one of our meetings/workshops in the new session. The Meetings page of the website has been updated with our new syllabus.
As usual the dates will be printed in our next Journal, which will be sent out in September. This will also include a membership subscription renewal form and tickets for our annual coffee morning.
Our first talk takes place on Tuesday 8th September at 7.30 pm. It will be held in Largs Museum as usual and our speaker will be David Wilson.
David will be giving a presentation on "The Vulcan", recognized as the world's very first iron-hulled steamship.

Dear Member,
This is to remind you that our AGM takes place at 7.30pm on Tuesday 12th May in Largs Museum.
Our Chairperson, Stephen, will give an account of our various activities over the past 12 months and some of our other committee members will deliver their reports.
Afterwards there will be a short quiz (easier than last year!) and then it will be time to socialise over tea and coffee and refreshments provided by our lovely committee.
